the PROJECT
In collaboration with architects, LHC Design, TCi established plans for an open-plan office facility set across two levels, with a full-height, central atrium and communal space and adjoining warehouse.
Set within five adjacent 120m2 units on a newly-built industrial estate, the offices benefit from natural light enhanced by the expansive use of glass to the front and rear of the building, coupled with glass interior partitions.
The 300m2 mezzanine floor is accessed by a staircase with natural wood décor features adorning the balustrade and gallery whilst an abundance of living plants provides a welcoming feel.
The challenge was to accommodate a growing business comprising two divisions with multiple departments, whilst maintaining an open and collaborative environment.
the CONSTRUCTION
The 30-week programme began with the installation of an internal steel structure to form the first floor, followed by lining, board laying and first fix M&E.
The entire HVAC system for the building has been designed for maximum efficiency and utilises a large external AHU and heat pump combination set behind the building.
Framework for partitions and structures continued with the installation of exterior glazing, full decoration, floors and ceilings.
True turnkey delivery
Collaboration with the TCi furniture WORKS team enabled a true, turnkey delivery featuring bespoke furniture throughout the building.
Custom manifestations to the glass partitions and windows, along with branded décor and an impressive Photowall landscape give the company headquarters a unique feel and identity.
Fully integrated data and AV systems provide state-of-the-art video conferencing, digital signage and presentation capabilities with full connectivity throughout.
Due to exceptional supply chain cooperation and effective site operations, the project was able to finish ahead of the original programme ready for early occupation.
