Delivering on-time and on-budget facility at HPC

TCi construction WORKS – part of the TCi (GB) Ltd family – has been selected by EDF Energy  to provide an onsite Interim Fire Facility building at its Hinkley Point C site.

The building is for the temporary use of the emergency services as a base whilst a permanent facility is completed at the Somerset site.

The temporary build comprises a 4-bay modular unit with office, two meeting rooms, welfare facilities and a kitchenette.

A four-week turnaround from project instruction to completion and handover was delivered on budget by TCi, working in partnership with Select Plant Hire and Ashby & Croft.

TCi (GB) Ltd is a tier 1 contractor to Hinkley Point C, one of Europe’s largest construction sites, for the supply of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment).
